My Life in Yankee Stadium | Interviews | Events

My Life in Yankee Stadium is a peek behind the scenes from a vendor who worked 2500 games at the world’s most famous ballpark. The quirky co-workers, the bizarre assortment of fans, and the character of New York City itself all come alive as Zully gives the unique perspective that only an insider has. Also an actor, Zully shares funny and entertaining stories about various celebrities as well, whether on a movie set or in the stands.

“As a life-long Dodger fan, I found My Life in Yankee Stadium a great read. It is funny, heartwarming and a great look at baseball from the perspective of the guy selling refreshments. You will love this book!” …Larry King

If you think you know everything about the Yankees, this is the last frontier. Stewart J. Zully entertainingly unveils all that goes on behind the scenes, getting peanuts, popcorn and Cracker Jack to hungry Yankee Stadium customers. It’s a profession as old as baseball, of which we knew little unless we worked there. Now, we know it all.” …Marty Appel, NY Yankees public relations 1968-77, author of Pinstripe Empire, Munson, and Casey Stengel.

Engaging...a unique book...spiced with tasty stories and cogent observations on baseball.” …Will Manus, Lively-arts.com

WHITE NIGHTS by Jason Karasev, directed by Stewart J. Zully

Monday April 15th at 8 pm | The Word at The Road | 10747 Magnolia Boulevard, N. Hollywood, CA 91601

WHITE NIGHTS follows first-generation American Maxim Ranevsky over 25 years as he grapples with the weight of his family's past, in order to forge his future. Infused with music, surreal elements, and Russian language, the play explores the immigrant struggle to assimilate, what it means to be Russian in today’s socio-political climate, and the burden of our forefathers’ expectations. Semi-autobiographical and loosely based on Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard, WHITE NIGHTS was a 2018 O'Neill Semi-Finalist.

Theatre Project: GOD HELP US

NEWPORT HARBOR Drama Department presents three very special benefit performances for the Robert B. Wentz Theatre at Newport Harbor High School of Ed Asner starring as God in GOD HELP US!, written by Samuel Warren Joseph & Phil Proctorand directed by Mitch Levine and also starring Stewart J. Zully and Pamela Guest. GOD HELP US! will perform for three performances only, Friday, February 22 at 7pm and Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 2pm & 7pm at the Robert S. Wentz Theater, 600 Irvine Ave. in Newport Beach.

GOD HELP US! is a play ripped from today's headlines, an evening's entertainment that is at once hilarious, unifying and thought provoking. Two pundits, Larry (a liberal lad) and Randi (a conservative gal), find themselves confronted by GOD (the legendary Ed Asner), a wise, sarcastic, cantankerous and wildly funny character who is offended by what America's political leaders have done to America. He has brought Randi and Larry to Purgatory for a lively debate about the issues our time. -Broadway World

If politics and religion are among the most combustible topics, then “God Help Us!” must be dynamite.
