Focusing on the principles of Michael Chekhov, the two-day intensive workshop helps actors through exercises in concentration, imagination, ease, form, beauty and more. A famed teacher in Hollywood and member of Stanislavski’s Moscow Arts Theatre, his students included Clint Eastwood, Marilyn Monroe and Gregory Peck. Chekhov’s exercises are practiced today by many contemporary actors around the world. His technique includes helpful, step-by-step advice for film and television in addition to theatre.

Stewart J. Zully has been an actor, writer, director, producer and teacher for over 40 years. He had a recurring role on The Sopranos and has more than 100 stage, film and television credits, working opposite Jack Nicholson, John Travolta, Sharon Stone, Bruce Dern and many more. He has directed, taught acting workshops and performed Off-Broadway and throughout the U.S. and Canada. In the early 80s he was part of a small group who studied to become teachers of Chekhov’s method, taught by students of the master himself. A graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, he is a former member of The Playwright and Director’s Units at The Actor’s Studio in Los Angeles.
